The experience a woman has of losing her hair can be different
than that of a man. This is of course because of all the
societal and cultural values we associate with a woman’s
hair. Women tend to have more pressure to maintain a full
head of hair. The following are tips for you in helping
deal with a female in your life suffering from hair loss.
1) People sometimes evaluate their problems by how others
are responding to their problems. Chances are, she’s
not feeling so great already about her hair loss. Your
job is to help minimize any extra upset by responding
calmly and neutral.
2) If you’re a mate, and you’re partner has
come to you, then point out everything that you are attracted
to about her that doesn’t have to do with her hair.
Do this while reinforcing that you are also optimistic
about finding a solution to her hair loss problem.
3) Reinforce VALUE for all the ways in which this person
contributes to the world that have nothing at all to do
with her hair.
4) Create an options list. The idea here is to focus
more on the solutions and options available than the problem.
The problem is hair loss, and this is generally due to
DHT. Unless the hair loss is suspected and proven to be
a health issue of some kind, look for options that target
DHT. Revivogen is a solution for thousands that has been
targeting and effectively fighting off DHT for over ten
years now.
5) One crisis in any particular area of our lives can
sometimes cloud everything. We start to think that all
things are falling apart. This is true for men and women.
Help keep the hair loss issue separate from all other
life issues. Compartmentalize the issue.
Hair is one of the most sensitive and conditional parts
of our body. Your love and support is the one thing that
doesn’t have to be so conditional in this person’s
life. Show unconditional gratitude that this person remains
in your life regardless of the status of her hair.
